MFMA Advises Sport Floor Contractors to Verify ADA RequirementsProper installation of raised sport floors, especially in retrofit projects, can have implications for the sport floor contractor where vertical rises exceed ½" in public entrances. The Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) recommends in these instances the sport floor contractor confirms in writing with the architect, design professional or owner these areas meet Federal ADA, state and local access codes before installation begins.
