Life Cycle Cost Comparison Worksheet

The following chart has been designed to help you estimate annual and life cycle costs for a maple strip, PVC or poured urethane sports floor in any facility, based on square footage. To compute the estimated life cycle cost comparison of a sports floor.

  1. enter the square footage of the floor on line one:
  2. on lines two through seven, compute the annual costs for each component by multipying the annual per-square-foot cost by the square footage of your floor
  3. for a total annual cost: add lines two through seven
  4. for a life cycle cost: multiply line eight by line nine.
